I'm Back, Babydoll!

I don't know what happened but I'm not going to make any excuses or dwell on it, just know that I'm back. I'm not going to do daily posts anymore cause clearly that doesn't work, I'll just post when I have something to say. But I'll try and make it at least once a week. I already know what I'm going to post for my next two so there's that!

Slightly Worse For Wear

I had a really nice night (for the most part) last night with my friends! We ended up getting slightly more drunk than anticipated and I know I've been feeling a little rubbish for it today.
In other news I've properly started GISHWHES and I've already completed one of the items! I made a parody twitter account of Orlando Jones and got it to over 400 followers, one of whom being the actual Orlando Jones, how exciting! Now I need to find something else from the list that I can do until my next definite item which will have to wait until Thursday.
All Time Low keep posting a picture of a face coloured with the Union Jack on a black background and they've finally said that they're going to give us the details tomorrow. I'm pretty excited because All Time Low are an amazing band live and the suspicion is that they'll be announcing either that they're supporting 5SOS on their tour, or they're playing Wembley and potentially other arenas on their own as a headline tour. Either way, all very exciting, but the announcement is at 9am which is especially painfully early when you don't have to work that day.

All About Tomorrow

In a sad update, I didn't manage to find what I was looking for yesterday. Mum suggested it might be somewhere in the garage, but that involves going to the garage to look for it.
I've officially gone and bought a ticket to Leeds Festival so I'm going with my friend Shannon later this month! Then I'll have a 2014 wristband and won't have to worry about finding my 2010 one (even though it's pretty and I really want to find it.)
Tomorrow is Bethany's 22nd birthday so we're going out tonight for it. I'm not really one for going out, I much prefer to stay in with a movie, but when it's for someone's birthday I'll make the effort because I'm just an upstanding friend and citizen like that. No doubt I'll have photos tomorrow!
GISHWHES also starts today but given the time differences and the going out I won't be able to start until tomorrow!

Ctrl + F My Life

You may have gathered by now that I'm not the most organised person in the world. This regularly leads to me losing my things. It's not always entirely my fault though- I'll have an 'organised' mess going on and someone will come along and disrupt it. They'll then move what I need somewhere else, forget where and try to blame me - "it's your stuff, you should know where it is!" Well I did until you moved it! Rubbish.
Well it's already happened a silly number of times this week. The first one I can't actually blame anyone for, as I've misplaced my old Leeds 2010 wristband. It's probably in a box somewhere after we moved house a year and a half ago, but the question is, which box is that? I also got an important letter which I gave to my mum and she's lost. I could really do with the Find function in real life! Even if it didn't present me with what I'm looking from at least telling me where I could find it would be so helpful.
I'm going to look for my old wristband again now. Keep your fingers crossed I find it and it doesn't take too long!

Happy Birthday, Mum!

It's my mum's birthday today! She got a load of vouchers to her favourite shop so I get to go shopping with her tomorrow… we went to a few supermarkets and she picked out a yummy coconut birthday cake.

It was a big step today when my family entrusted me with the lighter to do the candles. This 22 year old pyrophobic is doing alright.
I also took her and my brother out to a lovely Indian restaurant nearby, where we got this gigantic naan bread served on a naan tree.

We had a great day all in all, and it's my brother's birthday next week so we have to get thinking about where to go for his birthday meal.

DVD Night

Tonight I hung out with both my best friends, Beth and Lou (quote from The Mindy Project, "best friend is not a person, Danny, it's a tier!") watching Zombieland and Made Of Honour. We also had spaghetti bolognese made with fuisili instead of spaghetti which was really yummy.
Tomorrow is my mum's birthday and I had to rush out after being at Lou's to get her a few bits and pieces because I'm really disorganised this year. I already bought her a couple of pairs of jeans in the sale but I had nothing to give her physically tomorrow. Now I have 2 books for her, the new Michael Jackson CD and a bottle of gin. So what I lack in organisation I've made up for in thoughtfulness!

A Grumble of Pugs

Today KT was sad so I sent her a load of pictures of pugs to cheer her up. She loves pugs and intends to adopt an entire grumble of them one day. Right now she's watching an animal rescue show about pugs and telling me about all of the residents of this pug rescue shelter.
I have a week off work starting from today! It's my mum's birthday on Thursday, my best friend's birthday on Sunday and my brother's birthday next Wednesday so there's a lot happening. Oh, and GISHWHES starts this Saturday. Glad it's happening on my week off..!
